I'm not sure if I found art, or if art found me. Perhaps neither. There's no memory of a beginning--art has always been there, inseparable from life, undifferentiated from identity. Art then, is an expression of my heart, inspired by the world-embracing teachings of the Baha'i Faith. It seeks transcendence and strives to create meaning. Where some might see a chaotic mix of colors on a canvas, others will see that every drop of paint and stroke of the brush are purposefully placed, like letters of a word, to open a doorway to the soul.
